Position Title: Vice President of Sales, Asia Pacific
Location: Hong Kong, Taiwan, or Singapore
THE ROLE
The Vice President of Sales for the Asia Pacific region will design, direct, and execute comprehensive sales strategies that align with Isola's Key Strategic Objectives. This role will drive sales growth, oversee the sales team, further develop a robust customer and technical service infrastructure, and cultivate strategic partnerships to drive revenue growth. The VP of Sales is responsible for meeting or exceeding revenue, profitability, and performance targets while fostering a high-performance culture within the sales team. This individual will also be vital in building a diverse customer base and expanding into new markets. This role requires a solid commitment to building and maintaining customer relationships and overseeing market expansion efforts, necessitating frequent travel.
Essential Functions
- Strategic Leadership: Lead and direct the Asia Pacific Sales Team to achieve and surpass revenue, profitability, and budgetary goals.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and implement innovative strategi es to drive market expansion and revenue growth.
- Performance Monitoring: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales revenue, profitability, market share, and customer acquisition.
- CRM & Sales Tools: Drive the adoption of modern sales tools, including customer relationship management (CRM) systems, to enhance sales efficiency and engagement.
- Pricing & Sales Structure: Refine pricing policies, sales structure, and administrative processes to ensure seamless operations and superior customer service.
- Market Analysis: Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities for growth, product development, and market expansion.
- Team Leadership & Development: Foster a collaborative, performance-driven environment. Provide sales staff coaching, mentorship, and leadership development to enhance skills and achieve career growth.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product development, marketing, and technical service teams to align sales strategies with product launches and market needs.
- Customer & Technical Support: Ensure high customer service and technical support standards, developing systems that enhance the customer experience and maintain loyalty.
- Event & Conference Management: Organize and lead sales conferences, budget meetings, and strategy sessions.
- Credit & Risk Management: Monitor and control sales credit exposure, ensuring alignment with company risk management policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus but not required.
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of progressive sales experience, with at least ten years in leadership roles within the Asia Pacific region.
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful sales strategies in the electronics, PCB laminate, or materials industries.
- Must be willing and able to travel extensively within China and internationally, focusing on the Asia Pacific region.
