Job Purpose
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and motivating sales teams in our markets to achieve ambitious sales targets through developing and implementing strategic sales plans, managing the sales process from lead generation to closing deals, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role will work closely with the group In country GlobeSend Head and Group Head of Sales, to monitor sales performance and drive continuous improvement through data insights and competitive trends in the market environment. As such, the ideal candidate should possess experience in sales management in a regulated environment and possess a high level of motivation and dynamism.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve ambitious sales targets in our markets
- Lead, motivate, and coach a team of sales professionals to achieve peak performance in the Taiwan team
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities through market research, networking, and relationship building
- Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing deals, including prospecting, qualifying leads, presenting solutions, and negotiating contracts
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners
- Analyze sales data and identify trends to inform strategic decisions
- Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure smooth operations and a positive customer experience
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in sales and marketing
Qualifications
- At least 10 years of sales experience with a proven track record of success in a sales leadership role, demonstrating a consistent ability to exceed sales targets
- Strong understanding of sales methodologies and best practices
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and team members
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools
- Experience in cross-border payments is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred
