DBS GlobeSend Head TW
Your mission is to make Globesend become the preferred choice of cross-border payments for individuals and SME globally. As the Globesend head, you will play a pivotal role in driving aggressive customer growth and spearhead growth in a competitive payment ecosystem. You will build a high performing team that leverages both digital and direst sales channels to innovate, develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve our ambitious revenue targets.
To be successful, you need to have a strong proven track record of driving sales in fast-paced environments, managing P&L responsibilities, and have a deep understanding of both sales operations and digital platform growth. Responsibilities
- Execute on the agreed Globesend strategy in Taiwan market: Work closely with regional counterparts to ensure alignment on strategy, resource allocation, and shared initiatives, acting as a bridge between the local and regional teams
- Build and manage the Globesend Taiwan team: One of the primary responsibilities of the head of Globesend Taiwan is to build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer obsession within the team. This includes managing a team of product and sales professionals from scratch with the help of both country and regional stakeholder
- Drive profitability and expansion: Oversee all aspects of the Globesend business in Taiwan
Manage the P&L, drive profitability while meeting ambitious sales targets. Use a data driven approach and return on investment mindset to evaluate, execute and monitor go-to market strategy. Ensure resources are adequately utilised whilst ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Sales and partner management: Identify, lead negotiations, cultivate, and maintain strong relationship with key clients and partners. Negotiate complex deals and help close sales, where needed, to achieve revenue targets and business outcomes. Monitor sales activities and performance metrics and provide thought leadership and guidance on sales strategies and industry best practices and execute on them. Ensure sales governance policies and procedures are compliant with regulatory requirements and bank's policies
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including business partners, vendors, customers, and technology
- Market Insight, Analysis, Innovation and Growth: Stay up-to-date with market research, analyse industry trends, and identify opportunities for innovation, growth and expansion. Assess new/additional verticals for new business generation and continued expansion
- Customer Experience Management: Champion the customer experience by ensuring seamless, user-friendly, and innovative customer journeys across all phygital digital platforms
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in sales, business development, or market expansion roles, ideally in fintech, payments and is comfortable with ambiguity
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with experience managing a sales team and P&L
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong business acumen, strategic thinking capabilities and decision-making skills
- Demonstrate the ability to build and maintain high-level partnerships and strategic relationships
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate and influence at all levels of the organisation. Must possess a passion for customer focus
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
