Job Description
Support the design and implementation of compensation programs to attract, retain, and motivate employees located in semiconductor manufacturing sites (fabs) in the USA, Japan, and Germany (Overseas Operations Office). Assist internal and external stakeholders in conducting market research, surveys, and data monitoring to make necessary adjustments to salary structures and ensure organizational competitiveness with compensation programs.
Job Responsibilities
1. Support the design/redesign and delivery of compensation programs to align with organizational goals and market trends.
2. Conduct pay plan analysis, market research, and surveys to ensure competitiveness and fairness.
3. Develop adjustments to salary structures based on data monitoring and market analysis.
4. Assist internal stakeholders, including HR, finance, and leadership, in effectively executing compensation and benefits strategies from HQ and supporting local teams in the USA, Japan, and Germany.
5. Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as vendors and consultants, to leverage expertise and resources as needed.
6. Design and implement procedures for the administration of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
7. Administer retention programs and incentives to attract and retain top talent.
Job Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
2. At least 5 years of work experience in compensation-related positions.
3. Strong understanding of compensation principles, including job evaluation, salary benchmarking, and pay plan analysis.
4. Familiarity with HR practices and talent market for high-growth companies such as semiconductor, manufacturing, engineering, or similar is preferred.
5. Knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems.
6. Advanced Excel skills, including producing graphs and tables, using spreadsheets efficiently, performing calculations, and processing large volumes of data automatically.
7. Excellent Mandarin and strong English language skills.
8. Strong project/timeline delivery, communication, and coordination skills.
9. The ability to participate in diverse project teams from multiple disciplines and backgrounds.
10. Knowledge of basic financial principles.
11. Able to work under pressure with attention to detail, prioritize, and navigate complex challenges in a dynamic environment.
